Welcome to the 3DTV community. In order to make this an enjoyable and safe community for everyone, you will need to follow some basic rules when uploading videos or images to the 3DTV site:

What you can't do:

Do not submit or upload any content that is private or that contains confidential information.
Do not upload any content that is harmful, embarrassing, hateful, or abusive.
Do not upload any content that is obscene, profane, vulgar, indecent or offensive. 3DTV is not the place to post sexually-explicit or pornographic videos (even if they feature you).
Do not upload violent or explicit videos on 3DTV or upload any content that is explicit or graphic in any way (whether of a sexual or violent nature or otherwise).
Do not upload any videos that contain mature content (such as alcohol or tobacco use, etc.) without using appropriate age restrictions.
Do not upload any content that shows you or others engaging in illegal activity or that encourages others to break the law.
Do not upload any content that violates the legal rights of others. For example, do not upload any content that was created by others or that is owned by others, unless you have their permission. Also, do not upload any content that violates others' privacy rights or rights of publicity.
Do not distribute spam, leave repeated messages or post repeated content.

What you can do:

Upload content on 3DTV that complies with the rules set forth above and our Terms of Use.
Actively participate in the 3DTV community. Post comments, give Props to others' videos, develop the content on your Channel, and work to attain "published" status for your Channel.
Respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you are unsure whether a video would violate someone's rights, err on the side of caution and do not post it on 3DTV.
Post only content that you are comfortable with becoming publicly available.
Help us monitor the 3DTV community. If you believe a video violates the rules set forth above or our Terms of Use, please let us know by flagging the video or photo.

Then, upload a file

Once your channel is up and running, converting videos and photos is as easy as uploading a file. Our patented conversion technology accepts most standard image and video formats (check our Guidelines for Uploading). Click the upload button in the toolbar, select your file and enter some descriptive information. Your video or photo will be quickly converted to 3D and you’ll be notified when it’s ready to view and share. You can also upload 3D files and our player will display them in 2D and other 3D formats.

What’s next?

This is the fun part! Your 3D videos and photos will all be accessible through your very own channel where you can view and share your creations. Public videos and photos will be added to the 3DTV.com listings and made available to other users through search and browse. You’ll be a broadcaster of your own original work in no time!

Quick Start Viewing Guide

It’s easy to view videos and photos on 3DTV.com!

To view in 3D, you will need either anaglyph glasses or 3D enabled devices (like a 3D television, monitor or handheld). Click the “View Mode” button at the top of the video player. You can experiment by clicking through the options while you watch the video.

What to Select If You Have...

GLASSES WITH TWO COLORED LENSES

ANAGLYPH

View the video or photo while using anaglyph glasses (red/cyan or other). Nothing else is needed to view the video in 3D. You will be able to select the lens colors of your glasses. Press the swap button to swap the left and right eye color depending on your anaglyph glasses.

Passive / Polarized

View the video or photo on a polarized display using passive (i.e. non-powered polarized) glasses. You will be able to select the type of interleaving for your display and glasses.

Active-Shutter

(Not yet supported) View the video or photo using active shutter glasses and a 120Hz monitor/display. Active shutter glasses are powered and require special graphics cards (e.g. Nvidia 3D Vision) to sync with your display.
