At this year's Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, NV. GoPro showcased one of their HD Hero2 professional cameras that offer many great features for outdoor filming and a very attractive price tag. You can watch our coverage of a demonstration of the CES demonstration here on 3DTV.com.
You can go to the GoPro website if you want to find out more about the GoPro HD Hero2 cameras. There are actually three different models of this camera that retail for $299.99 each. These models include the Outdoor Edition, the Motorsposrts Edition, and the Surf Edition.
The difference between the models lies primarily in the accessories they come with as they are made for outdoor filming of recreational events or sports. The Surf Edition, for example, comes packed with surfboard mounts while the Outdoor Edition comes packed with vented helmet straps. At least some of them are waterproof. Be sure to check out their descriptions to make sure you purchase the right one for your activities you plan on filming.
